Family Recovery Program

Family_ProgramThose of us who work in the field of addiction recognize that this disease affects the entire family. Addiction is often not just a family of diseases, but a disease of the family. In order to fully recover the entire family must work towards the goal of emotional, social and psychological health. That means replacing co-dependent, unhealthy behaviors with new, healthy ones. After years of struggle the family’s communication skills can be unhealthy and unproductive and family members may lack appropriate and safe personal boundaries. This program is for you and is not solely focused on the individual in recovery.

Free of the distractions and the demands of the outside world you will be able to devote the time necessary to learn how you can help your loved one recover and how to take care of yourself. You will be able to schedule one-on-one counseling with your loved one’s case manager and/or therapist, receive valuable education, learn new skills and rebuild lasting relationships in a safe and supportive environment.
